On Sunday I presented twice at the Fitness Meeting 2019. And I am grateful.
First off to Giannis Govas who invited me. And gave me the opportunity to do my most favorite thing lately : to share my knowledge with young people.
Also to all of you who came (some from far away which made me feel deeply moved and utterly honored) and listened to me talk and connected with me in the name of evidence informed practice in supporting the human body.
Because, to be honest, we all live for connection. And this connection, the need for sharing, is what drives us to write texts, to compose music, to paint, to create, to exhibit, to get photographed, to make speeches, performances, races, to post what we consider worth sharing.
The sharing of knowledge has an almost spiritual dimension in my book.
Peter Senge had once said that
“Sharing knowledge is not about giving people something, or getting something from them. That is only valid for information sharing.
Sharing knowledge occurs when people are genuinely interested in helping one another develop new capacities for action; it is about creating learning processes”.
And for me, Perpetual Learning being my middle name, to create such a Process is like opening a small window into doing what only Gods and Mothers do: creating a new life.
So today I am Grateful. Much!
